❌ Don’t use this ONE SIMPLE TRICK for multiplying by numbers that end in 0. (At least not yet.) 🧮 When multiplying by numbers that end in zero, it’s tempting to say “Count up the zeroes, and then put them at the end of the simple multiplication problem”. And yes, students will notice that pattern and apply it EVENTUALLY. But don’t start there.
