Annual Solar Races & Energy Fair returns to Big Bend! Grant County fifth-graders learned about renewable energy through hands-on activities like cooking s’mores and hotdogs with reflective heat and racing their own solar cars. They also visited learning stations set up by Moses Lake High School students. The event is coordinated by Grant PUD, REC Silicon, Moses Lake School District, North Central ESD and Big Bend Community College. A huge thank you to all who helped make this event a success for
