After completing their time in Reception, U.S. Army newest Trainees are shipped off to meet their Basic Training or #OSUT Drill Sergeants to begin their transformation from civilian into Soldier. Before arriving at their basic training units, U.S. Army Trainees arrive at Reception Battalions to in-process into the Army. Reception is where Trainees are introduced to the Army Values and Warrior Ethos and administratively entered into the Army system.
