This blue ring octopus changed my mind about his entire species. It’s important to remember blue rings aren’t pets and shouldn’t be kept or imported for captivity. Once they are brought in they can never be released back into the wild. Most of the time that means a certain pre-mature death because he requires a very specialized tank that is very different than the average fish tank. I was reluctant to take in a blue ring bc of how dangerous they are but I am so grateful I did. #petoctopus #octop
